RAVENOL AWD-H FLUID is a fully synthetic hydraulic oil with a special formulation, enriched with specific additives and inhibitors. It is designed for wet self-locking multi-plate Haldex friction clutches of most generations, used in 4x4 transmission systems such as Allroad, Quattro or 4motion. Thanks to its characteristics, it enables very efficient power distribution and transfer.How the Haldex clutch works: It is located between the drive shaft and the rear axle differential. In generations I-III, it was controlled by the pressure created by the speed differences between the front and rear axles. The transmitted drive torque depended on the pressure at which the clutch discs are compressed. As a result, the rear wheels started to rotate as a result of front wheel slip. The fourth-generation Haldex has electro-hydraulic control, the pressure is generated by means of an electric pump and the transmission of drive torque is regulated by the four-wheel drive controller via an electro-valve for adjusting the degree of clutch opening. In this way, the distribution of torque to the individual axles and wheels depends on the driving method and conditions. The difference in wheel speeds on the axles no longer engages the 4th generation Haldex clutch.

Suitable for most current generation Haldex clutch in brand vehicles:Audi LandRover Seat Skoda Opel Volkswagen Volvo Oil should be changed every 60,000 kilometres to prevent damage to the transmission system. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations.
